How it works

Three steps, no new routine

  1. Sprinkle. Scoop the box as normal, then open one bag and sprinkle it evenly on top of the clean litter.
  2. Scoop as usual. Your cat uses the box like normal. There's nothing to switch and nothing new for your cat to get used to.
  3. Glance at the color. Each time you scoop, compare the particles with the color chart in the pack.

Add a fresh bag each time you fully change the litter. One set has 5 bags, so it covers five litter changes for one box.

Two types

  • pH check (brown): changes color when your cat's urine pH moves outside the usual range.
  • Blood check (green): reacts to traces of blood in urine, which can be hard to spot by eye.

Not sure which to choose? Ask your vet which is more useful for your cat.

If the color changes

Check again at your next scoop. If the change stays or comes back, or your cat seems different (going more often, straining, drinking more), call your vet and tell them what you saw.

Tailvine indicators are not medical tests and do not diagnose any condition. Always talk to your vet about your cat's health.
